The Coles Bay to Wineglass Bay Return tour takes guests by boat from Coles Bay across Great Oyster Bay to Hazards Beach in Freycinet National Park. From Hazards Beach, guests walk 2 kilometres along the Isthmus Track to reach Wineglass Bay. The walk takes around 30 minutes through bushland on a clear, well marked track. Many visitors choose to spend a few hours at Wineglass Bay swimming, relaxing on the sand, or enjoying a picnic before returning to Coles Bay by boat from Hazards Beach. Guests can also choose to return on foot via the Hazards Circuit or Wineglass Bay Lookout tracks.

Coles Bay, Great Oyster Bay
The tour departs from Coles Bay and travels across Great Oyster Bay along the granite coastline of Freycinet National Park. During the 30 minute cruise, guides provide commentary on the local area, including its history and marine life. Guests may see seals on the rocks, seabirds overhead, dolphins in the bay, and migrating whales during the season.
Hazards Beach, Freycinet National Park
The boat arrives at Hazards Beach where guests disembark. This beach sits on the eastern side of the Freycinet Peninsula and is the starting point for the walk to Wineglass Bay. Guests can choose to return to Coles Bay by boat from this location at the scheduled time.
Isthmus Track to Wineglass Bay
From Hazards Beach, guests follow the 2 kilometre Isthmus Track through bushland. The walk takes around 30 minutes and follows a clear and well maintained path. Along the way, guests may see native plants and wildlife such as echidnas and wallabies.
Wineglass Bay, Freycinet National Park
The track leads to Wineglass Bay, known for its white sand and clear water. Guests have free time here to swim, walk along the beach, or enjoy a picnic. After their stay, guests return by walking back to Hazards Beach for their scheduled boat transfer to Coles Bay, or continue on foot via the Hazards Circuit or Wineglass Bay Lookout tracks.
